Help prepare lunches and support our kitchen’s daily operations! This includes making peanut butter & jelly or meat and cheese sandwiches, packing lunches for our sandwich delivery shift.

Roll up your sleeves and help create a delicious meal for our community! Food Prep Volunteers assist with a variety of kitchen tasks that may include chopping vegetables, mixing ingredients, baking, roasting, and other meal preparation activities. Tasks vary depending on the day’s menu, but every shift plays an role in helping us serve nutritious, high-quality meals.

Volunteers collect surplus food from local grocery stores to be quickly sorted, inspected, and distributed to families in need. Meet at partner stores or the Flagstaff Family Food Center to unload donations, organize rescued groceries, and prepare them for our meal and food distribution programs.

Help us fight hunger and promote healthy eating across our community! During Product Sorting, volunteers gather to sort and organize the donations we receive for families and individuals in need. This shift will be a small group of 1-3 people working together indoors to check for expiration dates, damaged products, and organize by product categories.
