Racing to Feed Our Neighbors: ‘Cooler Runnings’ Returns

Proceeds from the annual Cooler Runnings bobsled competition goes to Flagstaff Family Food Center.

We hope you’ll join us this Friday, February 6th, as 32 local businesses compete in this wholly unique bobsled race put on by Canyon Coolers at the Flagstaff Snow Park. Each business has donated to Flagstaff Family Food Center and in turn received a large Canyon Cooler body, which they then transform into a bobsled.

Prizes are given out for the fastest sled, best-looking sled, and best costume.

The fun begins in the early afternoon with test runs and team check-ins before the opening ceremonies at 2 pm. Races start at 2:45 pm and go through 7 pm, with a break for dinner at 4:30 pm and an awards ceremony at 7:15 pm.

In addition to watching the races, your family can also enjoy snow play and tubing with your ticket. There will be food trucks at the event, plus beverages from Mother Road Brewing Co.

Pre-sale tickets are just $10 per person for spectators ($15 at the door). If you want tubing access, pre-sale tickets are $15 ($20 at the door). Availability is limited, so don’t wait!

We need volunteers! Running a double elimination event like Cooler Runnings takes a village and we could use your help. Please visit our volunteer page if you are interested.

And if you can’t come, you can still get into the spirit of Cooler Runnings 2026. Support FFFC’s mission of Neighbors Feeding Neighbors, Every Day by making a donation.

In the meantime, as the Jamaican bobsled team in the film “Cool Runnings” might say: Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it’s bobsled time!

Sincerely,
