Neighbors Feeding Neighbors
Every Day

The Flagstaff Family Food Center: Food Bank & Kitchen provides hope to Flagstaff families by providing hunger relief and children’s literacy programs.

For 28 years, we have rescued food from local sources, coordinated incredible volunteers to prepare, serve and distribute food, and maintained a safe community gathering place for sharing meals and encouraging a love of reading.

Through our various food programs, we provide over 6,500 meals daily throughout Northern Arizona. When you give to the Flagstaff Family Food Center, your contributions stay local as we work together to feed our Flagstaff neighbors in need. Donate Today and Change Someone’s Life!

New Programs!

Despite growing numbers of people served at our Kitchen and Food Bank, we know there are still thousands of vulnerable individuals, families, children, and seniors who are unable to reach us due to lack of transportation, physical or mental disability, or long-term debilitating illness. To reach more people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded two of our hunger relief programs: Home Deliveries and Mobile Pantries.

Home Deliveries

We are currently offering home deliveries of food boxes to anyone in need. Whether you are home-bound due to physical or mental illness, have a sick or high-risk member of your household, or are simply continuing to “shelter in place” for a while longer, we are able to deliver food boxes to anyone in need. Please call our office at 928-526-2211 to schedule a delivery.

Mobile Pantries

To reach more families in need during this time, we have expanded our Mobile Pantry distributions to the following locations and times:

Cromer Elementary: Tuesdays from 11am – 1pm

Leupp Elementary: Wednesdays from 10am – 12pm (11am – 1pm MST)

Killip Elementary: Fridays from 10:30am – 12:30pm

Thomas Elementary: Fridays from 11am – 1pm

What We Do

Daily Hot Meals

Enjoy a hot, nutritious meal in a family-friendly environment. Our Hot Meal is open to the public and does not require identification or proof or local residency – if you are hungry, you are welcome!

Food Box Program

Individuals and families in need can receive food boxes twice per month as supplies allow. We know that stretching your monthly food budget is important, so we’re happy to offer twice monthly food boxes.

Reading Room

After our daily hot meals, children are supported in their reading and homework by volunteers—many of whom are retired educators. Additionally, children get to take home books to keep and treasure.

Make a Difference

Support our hunger relief programs and help Flagstaff Family Food Center provide millions of meals to men, women, and children experiencing food insecurity and hunger right here in the community.
