2025 Feeding Futures Campaign
What is Needed & Why
Feeding Futures is a special campaign to finance infrastructure improvements so that Flagstaff Family Food Center can provide more nourishment and hope to those facing food insecurity.
High housing costs and inflation that’s impacted everything from insurance to health care to groceries has led to more and more people turning to FFFC each year. In the past 5 years, the total of hot meals served by FFFC grew by more than 101%!
We serve more than 41,000 individuals annually
22% of them under the age of 18.
The infrastructure improvements and facility upgrades funded by this campaign will save time and money, allowing FFFC to meet the current need and provide more assistance to more families, veterans, students, and seniors in the future.
Together, we can end food insecuirty in northern Arizona.
Heartfelt thanks to our Feeding Futures champions for their visionary support and seed funding, which laid the foundation for this campaign’s success.
The Improvements
The Feeding Futures campaign funds the following:
- Expanding and reconfiguring the Kitchen on North 2nd Street, which will allow FFFC to increase capacity by 50%
- A recently installed new loading dock at the warehouse on Huntington Drive to improve productivity.
- New parking lots at both locations with improved flood mitigation for better efficiency in receiving and distributing food.
It’s the children who are impacted by a lack of a stable diet that drives me to support FFFC. Nutrition or the lack thereof has a huge impact on a child’s mental and physical health and their ability to learn and grow. All children should have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential without worrying about where their next meal is coming from.
