Our Programs

Many in Flagstaff have a tough time making ends meet. That’s why our food box program is so important in helping families stretch their monthly food budgets.

Our volunteers help serve sack lunches daily from our to-go window. Some of our clients pick one up on their way to work or save it for later.

Dinners are prepared daily by staff and volunteers to provide a variety of healthy foods to anyone who needs a hot meal. Served in our warm dining room, or meals can be taken to-go.

Exciting News! 🎉
We’re proud to share that our team has been awarded the Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Engagement Award at the 22nd Annual Governor's Volunteer Service Awards! We’re truly honored, and grateful to stand alongside Governor Hobbs and her office in serving communities across Arizona.

Our staff is committed to being the best at three things:
 1. Serving our clients with dignity
 2. Creating a volunteer experience people want to return to
 3. Making donors feel confident and proud of their contribution
We can always do better, but this event gave us the opportunity to celebrate #2. Every member of our team works hard to ensure volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and honored—because they are truly the lifeline of making our region a better place. We’re proud to stand alongside a team that is exceptionally good at what they do, and whose impact is felt long before it’s ever seen.

None of this would be possible without our volunteers, who continue to show up—rain, shine, snow, or even during a government shutdown. So here’s to every volunteer who makes this work happen. 🌟We celebrate you!
Holiday Helpings was a success! 🦃❤️

Last week, we held our inaugural Holiday Helpings food distribution event in partnership with Northern Arizona University. With the help of nearly 200 volunteers, we were able to serve 931 households and 3,569 individuals with full Thanksgiving meal kits—including turkeys, sides, produce, pies, and more! Thank you to everyone who came together and helped nourish our community this holiday season.

A special shout-out to our sponsors and supporters who helped make this possible: Desert Financial Credit Union, Dark Sky Brewing Company, Coconino Community College, Arizona Community Foundation, and Kinney Construction Services, Inc.

Whether you are an organization, school, workplace, or neighbor who stepped up to host a food drive: thank you. Your donations truly make a difference, especially during the holidays. Every can, every box, every food drive matters, we’re so grateful for the support!❤️🥫
