One month away from our annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! 🥫📫
As the nation’s largest single-day food collection event, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has been instrumental in combating hunger across the U.S. All contributions remain within your community, directly supporting local families in need. This annual drive is especially crucial as we often experience food shortages in the spring months. 

How You Can Help
🗓 Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
📍What to Do: Place a bag of non-perishable food or other essential items next to your mailbox before your regular mail delivery.
💪Who Collects: Your local letter carrier will pick up the donations and ensure they are delivered to Flagstaff Family Food Center.​
👥We are looking for volunteers to help with folding materials before the event, and helping sort donations on the day of! If you are interested, sign up at hotfood.volunteermatters.org/project-catalog/67
The Northern Arizona Hunger Action Partnership (NAHAP) is hiring a Part-Time Coalition Organizer! In this position, you’ll build relationships in rural communities, coordinate resources, support events and meetings, and help grow our presence through social media, newsletters, and a new website. Our first class is in two weeks, register at bit.ly/NAZcookingclass if you are interested, as space is limited! 

Hosted by NACA, the Flagstaff Sustainability Office, and the Flagstaff Family Food Center, this free series offers hands-on classes with a Zoom option—perfect for beginners building kitchen confidence. Participants will learn practical kitchen skills like knife safety, meal prep, and basic cooking techniques while preparing nutritious recipes alongside a registered dietitian, who will share guidance on balanced eating and healthy habits.
