Free Hot Meal
Served Daily at the Food Kitchen
4 to 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy a hot, nutritious meal in a family-friendly environment. Our Hot Meal is open to the public and does not require identification or proof or local residency – if you are hungry you are welcome! We have provided this meal each and every night for the last 25 years with only one exception due to catastrophic snow (and even then the community gave-out soup and sandwiches at this location).

Children’s Literacy Programs
In the Paul Sweitzer Reading Room at the Food Kitchen
4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Children are welcome to visit our Reading Room every day during our hot meal service. Volunteers are available to read with and practice reading skills with children. Children may also enjoy educational games, crafts, activities and presentations. Volunteers can help children with homework and children can earn prizes for reading to volunteers. Come and meet Hannah our literacy program coordinator and her group of helpers!
